5 Bean Casserole



Sweet summertime is here, and we've got a sizzling' sidekick for any backyard BBQ, burger, or steak dinner. This "5 Bean Casserole" is a side dish that's kid-tested and grandma-approved. Here's how...


Ingredients:

8 or more pieces of bacon, fried, sliced and crumbled

2 large onions, sliced

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup vinegar

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1 (16 oz) can butter beans

1 (16 oz) can lima beans

1 (16 oz) can kidney beans

1 (16 oz) can green beans

1 (32 oz) can Bush Baked Beans


Directions:

Saute onion in bacon grease, add brown sugar, garlic powder, vinegar, and mustard. Simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, drain and stir together butter beans, lima beans, kidney beans, and green beans. Stir in baked beans and top with bacon mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve and enjoy!
