MRS. JANE'S CHEESE BALL

This cheese ball is one of the best that I have ever eaten. It is from Jane Hughes. I tasted it at a wedding and then found out it was her personal recipe. Very easy and yummy. The color is good for Christmas. Use a strong cracker. My favorite is Wheat Thins!
Ingredients:
2 - 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
1 - 8 1/2 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup of finely chopped green pepper
2 Tablespoons finely chopped green onion
1 Tablespoon seasoned salt
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, divided
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together using 1/2 of the chopped pecans. Shape into a ball and roll in the remaining pecans. Refrigerate to regain firmness of cream cheese. Serve with favorite crackers.
