Creamy Grape Salad



This salad is a great Memorial Day side. It is delicious on a hot summer day. You can add a few crumbled Heath Bars or Snickers to give it a different topper. Anyway you serve it, it is a yummy, cool and refreshing salad. Anytime I make it, people love it!!!


I was introduced to this salad at a Minister’s Wives luncheon in the home of Karen McNeece. Anytime I went to her house, I was treated to great food and fellowship. Ingredients:

8oz cream cheese softened

1 cup sour cream

1/3 cup sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 lbs seedless red grapes

2 lbs seedless green grapes

3 Tbsp brown sugar

3 Tbsp chopped pecans


Directions:

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla, and sugar. Add grapes and toss to coat. Transfer to the fridge until ready to serve. Once ready, sprinkle pecans and brown sugar on top. Serve and enjoy!
