Looking for the perfect fall dish to serve for dessert, girls' night, or just for yourself? I've got you covered! Check out how deliciously decadent this pecan trifle recipe can be.
What you will need:
1 1/2 large prepared pecan pies from the bakery section of the market
8 oz. block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup chocolate chips
heavy drizzle of chocolate syrup
1/2 cup pecan pieces, toasted
In a mixer, combine cream cheese, whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and whipped; about two to three minutes. Cut your pie into 1-inch cubes and layer half in the bottom of a trifle dish. Top with half of the chocolate chips and pecans, and add a layer using 1/2 of the whipped cream cheese mixture. Layer with remaining pie pieces and the remaining cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining chocolate chips, pecans, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours. Serve and enjoy!
