Ground Beef Pasta Casserole

Ingredients:
• 2 pounds of ground beef
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
• 3 cans of diced tomatoes
• 2 tsp. chili powder
• 1/2 tsp. sugar
• 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
• salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Grab a large pan for this recipe. A dutch over works perfectly. Saute bell pepper and onions in a little oil, then add ground beef. Cook the ground beef until it's no longer pink and drain. After that, add the cans of tomatoes, chili powder, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring all ingredients to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer on the stove for about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in the macaroni noodles and cover, simmering until the pasta is tender. Finally, sprinkle with some shredded mozzarella cheese and it is ready to serve. Enjoy!
