Protein, Protein, Protein! Eat lots of protein. It seems to be the battle cry in the nutrition world right now. Here is an easy recipe from @everydaydishes to eat as an appetizer, lunch or dinner. Each popper is 12 grams of protein. It will pack a punch of flavor with a great amount of protein! Enjoy every bite!
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup low fat cheddar
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
4 jalapeños, seeded and diced
6 tbsp fat free cream cheese
pinch of salt and pepper
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and oil a muffin tin. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the cream cheese. Mix until completely combined. Fill each muffin tin half way, then top with ½ tbsp of fat free cream cheese, then top with more mixture. The mixture should fill 12 muffin tins. Place into the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Let cool 5-10 minutes before removing from the tin.

12 grams of protein per popper is no joke—these sound perfect for meal prep when I’m craving something savory but need to hit my macros. I’ve been looking for more high-protein appetizers like this, so I’m definitely saving this one. Check out https://3daimaker.com
