Barbecups

Updated: Jan 20

I was headed out to a company potluck gathering and needed something quick, easy, and yummy! I was reminded of these Barbecups that I had not made in a very long time. They hit all the marks. Quick, easy and delicious!! Everyone loved them. Try them soon and see what I mean!! Here's how...

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup BBQ sauce, prepared

1 tablespoon instant minced onion or 1/4 cup onions, chopped

1 to 2 Tbsp brown sugar

1 (10 oz) can Hungry Jack refrigerated flaky biscuits

1/2 cap (2 ounces) Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:

Heat your oven to 400°. Grease ten muffin cups. Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain. Stir in BBQ sauce, onion, and brown sugar, and cook for one minute to blend flavors, stirring constantly. Separate the dough into ten biscuits. Place one biscuit in each greased muffin cup; firmly press in bottom and up sides, forming l/4 inch rim. Spoon about l/4 cup of meat mixture into each biscuit-lined cup. Sprinkle each with shredded cheese. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool one minute. Remove from pan. Tip: To make ahead, prepare as directed. Cover. Refrigerate for up to two hours. Bake as directed. Prep time: 15-20 minutes. Makes 10 servings.
