True Friendship

Today I taught on friendship in our LifeGroup. I was reminded that Jesus had several close friends, including the disciples.

At the last supper, He shared the plans with them. What the future would hold and described what was ahead in the days to come. Jesus told them ALL that His Father had told Him. Yet…they didn’t get it!

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15

Blown away that He has told us everything too!!! The Bible, His Love Letter to us, contains all we need for life… EVERYTHING!!! We are truly a friend of God. WOW!!!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t get over that He chose me to be a friend and He has shared ALL of the future plans with His friends! Rest in that, when storms come your way!
